"My journey has led me through family mental health wisdom, marriage for 25 years, 2 beautiful children, mindfulness and the adventures of authentic business development. I value the gifts of leading an intentional life and business practices and how that magic represents itself in our culture and communities. Over the years I have become conscious of the synchronicities of how inspiration flows with the power of possibility and what I call “Living above the Line” to manifest meaningful results. To “Live above the Line” means our dreams are waiting for us to become clear and take action; to step up and out of our own way, to show up with courage and conviction and speak up to ask for support and celebrate our wins. I learned early on that having an optimistic mindset, kind spirit and the ability to understand people are the keys to open the doors of opportunity.  I have taught and coached businesses for more than 4 decades which has inspired me to my core and supported my life to flourish.  

 

My purpose and passion are sacredly supporting individuals to release what keeps them stuck and playing small and to invite them to dream bigger and design an inspired future. WHY DO YOU LOVE NEUMOVEMENT?

For 3 years I watched fit, healthy people go in and out of NEUMovement and wondered what it would be like to do Pilates one day. In 2018 as I approached my 60th birthday was that day. Immediately I experienced the welcoming, open-hearted community and learned a way of exercising that felt right.  I knew I had come home. My love of Pilates grew when I began to see and feel a significant transformation which began from within and built outwards. I learned so much from the detailed instruction of the trainers and felt stronger, learned to breathe deeper, stood taller with a calmer mind. I discovered a new concentrated connection with my whole body awareness with an increase in my flexibility. 

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PILATES MOVEMENT?

I love Bridges as it builds strength in our core, glutes, quads, hamstrings, back and triceps. There are many variations with this exercise that makes it interesting, challenging and fun.

FAVOURITE DAY OFF ACTIVITY?

I love hiking and biking in nature, enjoying the fresh air, breathing deeper while being present and grateful for the blessings of each season’s gifts.

 

I listen to meaningful audio books about life and business to lift my spirit, learn and grow personally and professionally. 

 

Spending time with girlfriends to share, laugh, cry, dance and support each other to keep moving forward with grace and love in our hearts.
