KATIE GALOTTA

Registered Physiotherapist
BScH, MPT

One of the most valuable gifts that my education gave me is the ability to improve my own health. My goal is to empower my clients to do the same by helping them develop life-long knowledge and skills to both treat and prevent injury.

I completed my Bachelor of Science (Psychology) at Queen’s University in 2013 and my Master of Physical Therapy degree at Western University in 2015. I have also done post graduate manual therapy training and am certified in K-taping and Functional Dry Needling.

With my psychology background, I have a strong interest in the mind-body connection. I use this knowledge to take a holistic approach to physiotherapy treatment. This means focusing not only on the injury, but also considering each patient’s unique situation to develop an individualized treatment plan. My treatments focus on combining manual therapy and exercise with education.

In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing, practicing yoga, dancing, hiking, painting, and travelling.

NeuMovement is full of positive energy from the moment you walk in the door. I am so lucky to work with the raddest group of humans I know.

WHATS YOUR FAVOURITE PHYSIO/PILATES MOVE?

Upside down push up – Pilates move. I love it because is amazing for shoulder girdle stability and core control, plus it is super fun to go upside down!

WHERE CAN WE FIND YOU OUTSIDE THE STUDIO?

Rock climbing. Outdoors and indoors – love them both! I am an experienced climber and really enjoy treating other climbers!
