"I love sports and have always been very active. This meant that I needed physiotherapy from a very young age and this personal experience is what got me interested in becoming a physiotherapist.
I got my Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary in 2011 and my Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2013. I started my career in Alberta and moved to the Okanagan in 2016. I have taken post-graduate courses in acupuncture, dry needling, K-taping, concussion management, and the Integrated Systems Model.
Working at NEU has given me a love for Pilates and I now integrate a lot of it into my physiotherapy practice."
FAVOURITE QUOTE TO LIVE BY
"That which matters the most should never give way to that which matters the least".
WHY DO YOU LOVE NEUMOVEMENT?
I love working at NEU Movement because of the sense of community. I have never worked with such an amazing group of individuals, nor received so much personal and professional support from people in a workplace environment.
WHAT GOAL DO YOU STRIVE FOR WITH YOUR CLIENTS POST TREATMENT?
I love helping when my clients meet their goals, no matter how big or how small. I love when they come back and tell me the things in their daily life that are getting easier for them. "I used to not be able to play 18 holes", or "I can put my jacket on without hurting my shoulder now" are just some of the things I hear that make me love what I do.
FAVOURITE DAY OFF ACTIVITY?
In the summer you can find me on the ball diamond, golf course, hiking up a mountain, or at the beach. In the winter you can find me on the ski hill. And anytime of year I can be found at the wineries!
