“The body benefits from movement, and the mind benefits from stillness.” – Sakyong Mipham
WHY DO YOU LOVE NEUMOVEMENT?
I love the sense of community and the calm environment at NeuMovement. It is the perfect space to help people recover, heal and inspire them to be their best.
WHERE CAN WE FIND YOU OUTSIDE THE STUDIO/CLINIC?
In the summer you can find me running and hiking the trails in Kal Lake Park. In the winters you can find me at the ski hill snowboarding and snowshoeing. When I’m not outside enjoying what the Okanagan has to offer you can find me at home cuddling with my dog Bear.
WHAT GOAL DO YOU STRIVE FOR WITH YOUR CLIENTS POST TREATMENT?
I hope that my clients walk away feeling better than when they came in and with the tools to continue their healing and recovery at home. I want people to understand why their body is in pain and feel empowered to change it. I believe that education is one of the most valuable things that we can do as physiotherapists.
