Let your body strengthen and remember its natural state.

Physiotherapy Integration

Physiotherapy Integrated with Pilates sessions offers a comprehensive approach in active rehabilitation, preventing injuries, improving performance, creating balance and rehabilitating an injury.

The physiotherapist provides an assessment to identify areas of faulty movement. A hands on treatment will follow to release and align the body. Your treatment is then complemented by a safe and effective set of exercises specifically designed for your personal goals and needs. Pilates is very effective in connecting the client to the muscles needed to maintain the NEU alignment. Not only does Pilates strengthen our stabilizing muscles but it helps create new firing patterns from the brain to our muscles.

With two trained professionals watching your movement patterns and directly addressing your needs, our program has AMAZING results!

Allison Godley

Registered Physiotherapist, BKin, MScPT

Allison completed her Bachelor degree in Kinesiology with a sports injury focus at Acadia University then went on to complete her Masters of Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia. She left the east to take in all that the mountains and lakes in BC have to offer.

Allison is an outdoor enthusiast, animal lover and foodie. Her professional interests include sports injury, geriatric care and helping people discover better movement patterns for their body. Her post graduate courses include Functional dry needling (IMS), level 2 lower manual therapy, and the Sports Thorax course with Linda Joy Lee (Connect Therapy).

Lynn Orsak

Registered Physiotherapist

Lynn graduated in 2016 from the University of Saskatchewan’s Masters of Physical Therapy Program.  She has worked in a busy private practice since graduating, and has taken post-graduate courses in manual therapy and yoga therapy.  She is also pursuing her certification in acupuncture.

Lynn has an active approach to physical therapy that allows the client to be in charge of his or her own well-being.  Using a combination of manual therapy, exercise and education, Lynn brings enthusiasm and energy to every session to help empower her clients to achieve their goals.  She also believes in integrating yogic breathing, asana (yoga postures), and mindfulness practices into physical therapy to provide a holistic approach to foster clients’ overall health and wellness.

Born and raised on the Canadian prairies, Lynn enjoys many sports (even downhill skiing!), yoga, reading, and cooking, but her other passion is writing.

Sonja Shouldice

Registered Physiotherapist, BKin, MScPT, CAFCI, Cert. FDN

Sonja loves sports and has always been very active. This meant that she needed physiotherapy from a very young age and this personal experience is what got her interested in the profession. She got her Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary in 2011 and her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2013. Sonja started her career in Alberta and moved to Vernon in June 2016. She has taken post-graduate courses in acupuncture, dry needling, manual therapy, K-taping, and concussion management.

Sonja loves yoga and barre and integrates a lot of that philosophy into her practice.

Jen Gulley
