Katie Galotta
Registered Physiotherapist
BScH, MPT, Cert. FDN
Katie completed her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology at Queen’s University in 2013. Out of her desire to work directly with people and positively influence their lives, she went on to complete her Master of Physical Therapy degree at Western University in 2015. Since graduating, Katie has worked in private practice in Calgary. She has a strong interest in manual therapy and is currently working on the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy levels. She is also a certified K-taping therapist and a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

With her psychology background, Katie has a strong interest in the mind-body connection; a person’s mental state affects physical functioning and vice versa. She uses this knowledge to take a holistic approach to physiotherapy treatment. This means focusing not only on the injury, but also considering each patient’s unique situation to develop an individualized treatment plan.
Katie’s treatments focus on combining manual therapy and exercise with education. Her goal is to empower every patient to develop life-long knowledge and skills to both treat and prevent injury.

Beyond physiotherapy, Katie enjoys practicing yoga, dancing, rock climbing, hiking, painting, and travelling.
Hayley Brown

Hayley Brown graduated with distinction from Bond with the Clinical Excellence award. She has been a practicing for Physiotherapist for almost 7 years. Hayley passed the Certification for Certified Hand Therapy (CHT) Examination in December awarding her the title of Certified Hand Therapist.

Hayley is a diligent, caring, and personable physiotherapist. She finds communication and understanding to be an essential part of treatment. She will explain why you may be experiencing certain symptoms and how treatment will progress to assist in resolution.
​
Hayley provides assessment and treatment for a variety of conditions including BPPV type of vertigo, orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, acute and chronic sports injuries, and physiotherapy to support healthy ageing. Hayley has specialist skills in treating conditions involving the upper limb; including complex injuries to the wrist and hand.
​
Her treatment techniques include soft-tissue release, cupping, dry needling, and manual therapy. She offers prescription of individualised, progressive exercise plans for long-term management. Movement is medicine, and Hayley loves to help her clients move!

She is also a Returned Servicewoman and Navy Veteran of the Second Gulf War (Iraq War). She has served 20 years in both permanent Australian naval and naval reserve positions.
Ali Brooke

Ali is a passionate advocate for the mind-body connection and uses an active, mindful approach to help people heal themselves. Alongside her physiotherapy practice, she uses Pilates to teach her clients efficient and pain-free movement patterns to rehabilitate and prevent injuries. She welcomes anyone to come and try individualized clinical Pilates in their physiotherapy sessions with her. Ali loves to teach her clients how we are all capable of healing and uses her compassionate nature, manual therapy, and education to help people break down their personal barriers to health.
She has a particular interest in working in partnership with people who have neurological conditions, having worked in a specialist center for this in the UK. Additionally, with her experience in acute care across all specialties, she is well-placed to help you recover from surgery or a bout of severe illness.
Outside of physiotherapy, Ali enjoys adventuring in the mountains, deep conversations, and even deeper mugs of tea!
Paulina Wegrzyn

Paulina graduated from the University of Toronto in 2019 with a Master's in Physical Therapy. She has completed additional training in dry needling and pelvic floor physiotherapy. Paulina uses a combination of manual therapy, dry needling, soft tissue release, Mulligan techniques, exercise, and education in her treatment sessions. She enjoys treating the active population and has a special interest in treating runners, yogis, and climbers. Paulina has extensive experience treating prenatal and postpartum individuals. Paulina’s treatment style takes a patient-centered, evidence-based, biopsychosocial approach. She prioritizes patient goals and priorities when developing a treatment plan, and strives to help individuals return to activities that bring them joy as quickly and as safely as possible.

Ariel Z
Ariel graduated from Western University with her Masters of Physical Therapy in 2021. During her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, she participated in numerous clubs and volunteered at a Physical Therapy clinic that specialized in concussion rehabilitation.
Quickly, she fell in love with the impact physical therapy could have on an individual’s life which instilled a passion for helping clients get back to the activities they enjoy.
Ariel regularly uses education, manual therapy, and exercise prescription to empower her clients and assist them in reaching their goals. She is also Complete Concussion Management certified allowing her to treat and educate those who have sustained a concussion. Fun fact: We no longer prescribe staying in a dark room! A gradual return to both physical and mental activity is key.
Ariel grew up in the small town of Williams Lake, but has grown accustomed to what the Okanagan has to offer. Some of her favourite activities include paddle boarding on the numerous surrounding lakes and going hiking with her Aussie Collie Doodle Ollie.

Jaclyn has been working in the fitness industry for almost 10 years with her experience coming from teaching group fitness such as bootcamp and barre classes before she became a full time pilates instructor 6 years ago. Her passion lies within helping people overcome their limitations and helping people realize that they are stronger than they think they are. Jaclyn teaches private pilates, physio led active rehab (including pelvic floor) and group classes!
Michelle Southgate

Michelle has 10 years of Pilates experience to offer and starting as a physiotherapy patient at NeuMovement herself wants to see people improve through Pilates and proper movement. She enjoys teaching a mixture of rehab and challenging workouts.

Cheryl loves sharing what Pilates can do. Shauna Bradbeer

Shauna enjoys working with a diverse array of clients spanning from all ages and abilities. She helps to improve the quality of life of her clients living with chronic pain, as well as those with acute injuries to get back to their hobbies and sports. Shauna has previously worked as a Personal Trainer, fitness instructor and Kinesiologist. After discovering what pilates can do for the body and mind she focuses her teachings on the equipment and movements created/inspired by Joseph Pilates.
Alana Arkell

Working with Alana, you will get the Pilates experience. Her passion lies in creating challenging workouts that move the body to help release any tension and works to increase muscle strength and endurance-based exercises.
Keisha Johnson
Kinesiologist, Certified Pilates Instructor and Physiotherapy Assistant
Keisha has experience working with athletes such as runners, hikers, weight lifters, hockey players etc. She likes to carry sessions intuitively based on each clients current mental/physical standpoint. She believes in a healthy balance between releasing/stretching and strengthening. Keisha has her Pilates Teaching Certification, and a degree in Kinesiology that allows her to work with ICBC.

Teigan Moore
Teigan grew up in the Okanagan where she played a variety of sports. Having an active lifestyle showed her the importance of movement, injury prevention, lifestyle and overall health. This lead Teigan to get her pilates training with Stott Pilates, Pilates process and NEU Pilates in 2015. Teigan also completed her massage therapy diploma in 2020 at The Okanagan College of Massage Therapy . And is in her 3rd year at the Canadian School of Osteopathy in Vancouver. Her love of holistic health, healing, and movement brought her to these therapies, and to help empower her clients on their own health and wellness journeys.
