"Hey, I’m Megan! I grew up in Penticton BC. My passion for dance began at a young age and filled my schedule with every class I could take. That passion and hard work took me on a 14-year career path as a professional dancer working aboard international cruise ships, travelling all over the world and to the famous stage of the Moulin Rouge in Paris. During my dance career, I started to study Pilates and yoga as a means of healthy movement and injury prevention. I truly believe that exercise should be a celebration of what our bodies can do! Pilates has allowed me to find strength and balance throughout my life from a dancer, through pregnancy and now postpartum. "

WHY DO YOU LOVE NEUMOVEMENT?
I love witnessing people connect to their minds and bodies in a new way. It’s so amazing to watch someone have an ah-ha moment through movement or mindfulness. After a lifetime in one body, there are always new things to learn about movement, strength and connection. Amazing!
WHAT MOTIVATES YOU EACH DAY?
I am motivated each day by the people in my life. My daughter inspires me. I want to be the best version of myself for her. Connection, family, friendships are what make everything feel purposeful for me.
FAVOURITE DAY OFF ACTIVITY?
Outside the studio you can find me chasing after my toddler, teaching Barre fitness classes, and drinking Americanos at Waterfront café.
