She is a certified mat Pilates instructor, certified personal trainer, and yoga teacher, currently enrolled in the NeuMovement Pilates Teacher Training program. Bek is excited to continue expanding her understanding of Pilates, with a special focus on Neu's unique principles and philosophies. Through both her administrative role and (eventually) teaching, she is committed to supporting the community with clarity, care, and a deep appreciation for mindful movement.

With a strong background in kinesiology, Sydney is passionate about the importance of movement and how it supports everyday well-being. She values creating a warm, welcoming space and enjoys building meaningful connections with everyone who walks through the door. Sydney is excited to continue growing within the field and hopes to further her education in the near future. Outside of the studio, you’ll often find her swimming in the lake, enjoying a spin class, or spending time with her closest friends.

Mary Pruijs

Born and raised in the Lower Mainland, Mary took on a new adventure and moved to the Okanagan in 2018, where she quickly found a supportive and inspiring community. She has been with NeuMovement since 2019, bringing a warm and welcoming presence to the studio. She has a passion for helping others feel their best through wellness and movement.
She is a certified Pilates instructor with specialized training in mat & anatomy, reformer, tower, and chair. Her well-rounded knowledge of movement and the body brings added insight to her role as Lead Administrator and enhances her understanding of client care.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys backpacking, volleyball, and spending quality time with her husband, family, friends, and two precious cats.
OSTEOPATHIC MANUAL THERAPY

Lisa Nugent
Osteopathic Manual Practitioner
I’m Lisa Nugent, Osteopathic Manual Practitioner.
After graduating from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Ontario, I've been dedicated to helping people move with ease, recover from pain and injury, and feel empowered in their bodies. My approach is hands-on and personalized, combining structural, visceral, and cranial techniques to support the whole body, not just isolated symptoms.
I treat people of all ages, from infants to older adults, with a special interest in pediatrics and prenatal care. Over the years, I’ve taken additional training in oral and facial tissues and continue to expand my knowledge in the care of children and families. Whether I’m supporting a baby with latching or digestive challenges, helping a pregnant client move more comfortably, or working with an active adult to reduce pain and improve performance, my goal is always to restore balance, improve mobility, and support your body’s natural ability to heal.
Originally from Ontario, I moved to Kelowna with my husband and our dog, Malcolm, and I’m now proud to call this beautiful community home. Kelowna has allowed me to stay active, whether I’m hiking with my dog, starting my day with yoga, or exploring the Okanagan by boat with my family.
I often treat conditions like neck and back pain, TMJ dysfunction, tension headaches, postural strain, repetitive stress injuries, and pregnancy-related discomfort. I believe in building lasting therapeutic relationships and empowering people with the knowledge and tools they need to feel their best.
Whether you’re seeking care for yourself or your child, I’m here to help you move better, feel better, and live better.
Ryan Mercier
Osteopathic manual practitioner
Hi, I’m Ryan Mercier — an experienced Osteopathic Manual Practitioner who has recently relocated to Kelowna from Ontario. I hold a four-year Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Psychology from Laurentian University and a four-year Master’s in Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy.
Growing up, I was always active and involved in sports, which naturally sparked my passion for human movement and biomechanics. This curiosity eventually evolved into a career focused on helping people move, function, and feel better by restoring balance and alignment to the body’s structure.
Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide variety of people — from children and seniors to athletes, desk workers, and tradespeople — and have seen consistent results across all systems of the body. Whether you're dealing with musculoskeletal pain like sciatica, TMJ dysfunction, or chronic back pain; headaches or migraines; preparing for or recovering from surgery; managing digestive issues like IBS, bloating, reflux, or constipation; or navigating respiratory, hormonal, circulatory, lymphatic, or nervous system challenges — osteopathy offers a hands-on approach that supports your body’s natural ability to heal and self-regulate.
Osteopathy uses differential diagnosis to find the root cause of your symptoms, focusing on how one issue can lead to another. By treating the underlying cause, rather than just masking the symptoms, we help restore balance and support your body’s natural healing process.
Additionally, osteopathic treatments are covered under most benefit packages, making it easier for you to access the care you need.
I’m excited to be part of the Kelowna community and look forward to welcoming you to the clinic.
