Applicants must also obtain a Certificate in basic Anatomy OR have completed our NEU Mat & Anatomy Course.

The NEU Pilates Chair Curriculum consists of the learning and understanding of:

• NEU Pilates Foundation

• Anatomy and movement

• Foundational, Intermediate and Strength Chair Workouts

• Effective communication and observation skills

• Visual, verbal and tactile cuing to deepen connections and align movements

• Postural analysis

• 20 exercises plus modifications for specific postural issues

• How to incorporate physiotherapy cues and modifications to activate proper muslces

• Program design

• Personal and group teaching skills

• Benefits of each exercise
