How to Start Our Physiotherapy Lead Active Rehab Sessions

Updated: Nov 28, 2022

At Neumovement we have physiotherapists, massage therapists, kinesiologists and pilates instructors. You can join our private pilates, semi privates, and our physio lead active rehab sessions. Or you can book physiotherapy, massage therapy or a kinesiology appointment which are always one on one with the practitioner. There are many different options to choose from, so where do you start if you want to join our physio lead active rehab program?

Clients often ask us how they can start pilates that is directed by a physiotherapist, let's break it down!

First, you would book a physiotherapist for an initial assessment. During this appointment if the physiotherapist thinks that pilates would be a good fit for you moving forward, they would create an individualized plan for you. This would include physiotherapy and pilates. These pilates appointments would be booked after your initial appointment by one of our awesome front desk staff. Typically the pilates appointments are 55 minutes long, however we have options for 45 and 30 minutes as well. The pilates appointments will be one on one with the instructor and designed for your specific needs.

To continue with the program, you have to have a follow up physiotherapy appointment at least every six weeks, however it could be earlier depending on what the physiotherapist specifically recommends for you. All of these appointments can be billed to your insurance company if you have any extended health coverage. We direct bill to most major insurance companies, just double check your coverage for physiotherapy!

Give one of our clinics a call or email if you are interested in booking an appointment. We would be thrilled to have you join us!
